David Lynch’s fondness for Bob’s Big Boy, a popular American diner chain, is well-documented. For seven years, Lynch followed a unique daily routine that involved visiting the Bob’s Big Boy location in Burbank, Los Angeles. Every day, he would arrive at the diner at precisely 2:30 PM, order a chocolate milkshake, and sit in the same booth. This ritual became an integral part of his creative process, as he found the atmosphere of the diner conducive to developing ideas.
